When Members’ Teams are invited to enter Tournaments within UK which are not a GBHI or one of its Regions event it is necessary to seek formal approval via your Regional Executive, from GBHI. This is usually granted immediately upon request, to ensure that GBHI’s Insurance cover for both Personal Injury and Third Party Public Liability is in place for the event contemplated.
This is a requirement of Insurers to show that the event has been formally approved and recorded by GBHI Executive and to do this approval of such requests are recorded in the minutes of the relevant Committee or Board.
Your compliance with this procedure is mandatory and failure to do so in advance of the event could prejudice the cover provided by our Policy.
